The incidence of wrist and thumb injuries resulting from overuse is on the rise due to prolonged use of computers, cell phones and other devices. To prevent such injuries from occurring or getting worse doing isometric exercises will help strengthen the thumb and wrist. Resting and icing your thumb and wrist in between activities is also beneficial whenever possible.
